Gulf of Squillace

This gulf is of great geological interest; in fact, under the sedimentary rocks offshore, a strong pressure on the plates is created.

The Appennine area in the inland is also known as the Dolomites of Calabria.

The microclimate that is created is the same as the one present in Trentino Alto-Adige.
