Ischia

Of volcanic origin, Ischia island, is probably best-known for its hot springs and spas.

Ischia also has some charming towns, including Ischia Ponte, located just below an Aragonese castle.

To get a brathtaking view have a hike up to the Monte Epomeo; on clear days you can see as far away as the islands of Ventotene and Ponza.

Other small villages on the island are Forìo, Casamicciola Terme, Lacco Ameno and Sant'Angelo.
