GORIZIA
A hill separates the Italian part of the Slovenian Nova Goriza.
Visit the old buildings of Casa Rassauer, Dornberg and Tasso home to the Museo della Grande Guerra, dedicated to World War I.
Also interesting; the Cappella del Santo Spirito, the Castello di Gorizia which dates back to the year 1000.
The main entrance of the castle leads into a courtyard which hosts the Palazzo dei Conti and Palazzo Stati Provinciali.
