Cerveteri
This old Etruscan city was one of the largest in Etruria.
You may visit the Museo Nazionale Cerite which displays funerary goods from the tombs of the necropoles in the area.
A few km outside town lies the Etruscan Necropolis.
It is laid out in a series of streets lined with tombs dating from the period between the 7th and 3rd century BC.
The most famous and interesting tombs are the Tomb of the Hut, the Tomb of the Chairs and the Tomb of the Reliefs.
