This is one of the most popular seaside resorts on the Adriatic Coast with its thirteen kilometres of golden sands and the famous Velvet Beach.

In the old town visit the Rocca Roverasca, the 18th century Duomo, the 14th century Palazzetto Baviera and the Pinacoteca Diocesana which exhibits paintings by Guido Reni, Palma Il Giovane and Federico Barocci.
