Santuario di Vicoforte

This sanctuary dedicated to the Virgin Mary boasts an enormous elliptic dome, one of the largest in Italy.

The interior hosts the miraculous image of the Madonna of the Pillar.

The fresco on the dome covers about 6,000 sqm and was completed by Mattia Bortoloni and Felice Biella in 1745.
