This is a beautiful town which still preserves the elegant buildings of the Historic Centre, showing the prosperity it gained thanks to trade with the Aragonese and Venetians.
Visit the Castello Svevo, built for Frederick II; the fort of S.Antonio and the Chiesa di Ognissanti founded by the Templar Order.
The enchanting cathedral was founded at the end of the 11th century; the interior incorporates three churches.
At ground level is the church of S.Maria from which you may get to the underground church of S.Leucio dating back to the 5th century.
