BRINDISI
This important port town offers many interesting sights.
Starting with the two ancient Greek columns close to the port and the lively Corso Garibaldi.
Then have a look at the Cathedral, the Provincial Archaeological Museum, the Romanic Church of S.Giovanni del Sepolcro, the Chiesa del Cristo (dating back to 1230), the Swabian Castle (whose construction had been ordered by Frederick II in 1227).
And you may have a walk to the beautiful church of S.Maria del Casale, the most important medieval building in town.
