The cathedral, founded in 1039 is a Romanesque masterpiece with Byzantine and Islamic influences. Inside, the Treasury contains objects of great value.

Also worth a visit: the early-Romanesque church of San Basilio, Palazzo Tricarico and Palazzo Vasto.
