Pantelleria
The largest of Sicilys islands at just thirty miles from the African coast.
Pantelleria is an ideal destination for holidays, with its beautiful beaches, caves and the volcanic Lago di Venere with thermal spring water.
The Montagna Grande mountain is surrounded by 24 small craters with lava flows, residues of pumice-stone, basalts, fumaroles and thermal sources (Gadir, Nicą, Satana).
There are many grottos where it is possible to take a steam bath; one of the most famous ones is the Stufa del Bagno di Arturo near Sibą.
