MASSA

This town lies amongst the Apuan hills and is a 16th century dominion of the Malaspina family, dominated by its beautiful fort.

The town is rich in valuable monuments: the Palazzo Cybo Malaspina, Piazza Aranci, the cathedral, dedicated to St.Francis and St.Peter and the gateways to the old walled city.
